Your step-by-step guide to installation
1. Get a professional quote
Use the search tool to find local experts for a job quotation. All of the listed installers meet the British Board of Agrément (BBA) and/or KIWA standards. For them to provide an accurate quote, all you need to do is list some basic details about your property, e.g. which rooms need insulation, approximate size of the space, etc.
2. It's time to assess your property
Once you’ve approved a quote, your chosen installer will need to assess your property. It’s important that they can evaluate the job first-hand as part of their due diligence for the full documentation that you'll receive when the installation is complete. Plus, it’s an opportunity for them to introduce themselves, reassure you and answer any questions you may have.
3. What to expect on installation day
Installation typically only takes one day. The team will carefully go about their work with minimal disruption to your household. Once they’ve covered everything that’s not being sprayed, it’s a quick and easy process with little mess. Once installation is complete, your home comfort will be improved right away.
4. Your homeowner documentation
Once the spray foam insulation has been applied, a full documentation package will be provided to you by one of our authorised installers. This is documentation that evidences all of the evaluation done prior to installation, which product was installed and the installer’s details. This pack will need to be kept safe and shared with a buyer’s solicitor should you decide to sell your property in the future.
